Posted by Philip Hilbert | 25/08/2015 No Comments

MST are proud to announce the creation of a new division within the group – MST Safety & Training Services. The newly established enterprise will be led by Manager Andy Fell, whose background in Marine Rescue and experience in Flood Response Operations and Equipment identified him as the outstanding candidate for the role.

Andy comments ‘To meet the growing demand in the sector, MST Operational Training utilises the experience and skills of instructors with operational backgrounds from Emergency Services Military and Law Enforcement organisations. MST’s instructors are all experts in their respective fields, including Marine Rescue, Flood Response, High Performance Boat Operations and Casualty Management. Needless to say, I am delighted to be heading up this new and exciting business.’

Thanks to unrivalled contacts in the industry, MST have direct access to a range of highly challenging environments for Marine based Boat Training and Medic Training, involving a range of high performance vessels, equipment and on-site facilities. Training can also be delivered at the locations of customers choice, featuring tailor-made modules designed to deliver against client specifications. This flexibility also maximises value by reducing the costs associated with travel and accommodation for attendees.

MST Training Courses are designed to focus on operational confidence and effective task orientated training. Modules include training for RYA Powerboats at all levels, Rescue Boat Response (DEFRA Module 4), High Performance Craft, Jet Driven Vessels, Rescue Swimmer Operations, Casualty Evacuation Systems, Boat Technical Support, Capsize Craft and Emergency Systems, Advanced First Aid and Remote Casualties and Operational Paramedic courses.

MST’s Sales Director, Philip Hilbert also comments ‘While MST constantly strive to develop more and more technologically advanced rigid inflatable boats and crafts, the safety of all crew members and those who the craft are deployed to assist is at the very heart of our business. The creation of the new Safety & Training division reinforces our position as a world-leading provider of Rigid Inflatable and High Speed Workboats for military and professional use.’
