Supporting the Next Generation Through Work Experience at MST

At Marine Specialised Technology Ltd, we believe work experience should give young people a real view of the workplace, not just a brief look from the sidelines.

Last week, we welcomed Louie Jones to MST for a one-week work experience placement with our Electrical Fitting team.

During his time with us, Louie spent time with the team, gained exposure to electrical fitting activities, and saw how safety, quality, teamwork, and attention to detail come together in a live manufacturing environment.

Work experience matters. It helps young people understand what the industry expects, what good workplace standards look like, and where future career routes may lead. It also gives businesses like ours the chance to support local talent and promote careers in manufacturing, marine engineering, and specialist boat building.
